275th Annual Communication Commemorative Medallion
On April 26 - 27th 2012, our Grand Lodge will be holding and celebrating its 275th Annual Communication at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in North Charleston. Special events will be held throughout the Annual Communication commencing on Wednesday April 25, 2012 with all of the South Carolina lodges and Grand Lodges from throughout North America and Europe participating.
To commemorate this historical event, a special limited edition, 3-inch antique bronze medallion depicting our Grand Lodge and States rich history has been struck; a drawing and photo of the medallion is shown below.
Our Grand Master, MW Barry A. Rickman, authorized the advance selling of these medallions commencing on September 1, 2010. The price of $30.00 each includes the medallion, a presentation box, and a display stand. The medallion sales proceeds will be used for the expenses related to the 275th celebration.
With over 40,000 masons in South Carolina and only 1,700 medallions being sold, the availability is limited. Brethren will want to obtain one of these once in a life time mementos for their lodge.
